An Automation Technician job in Mebane, NC is available through Modis. As the Automation Technician, you will be preforming various diagnostic and troubleshooting activities of manufacturing automation machinery. You will need to have experience with automation, various sensors, wiring, pneumatic and hydraulics. You will perform failure analysis, repair, and any scheduled preventative maintenance. You will also be responsible for setting up and installing any new automate equipment. You need to have experience reading and understanding various electrical and mechanical schematics, drawing and blueprints.

 

This is a second shift opportunity.

This is a contract to hire with a leading manufacturing company.

 

Automation Technician job responsibilities include:

            Preform various diagnostic and troubleshooting on manufacturing automated machinery

            Failure Analysis, repairs and any scheduled preventative maintenance on robotic and automated equipment

            Preform mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and/or hydraulic repair to automated equipment

            Set up manual and semi-automatic assembly lines and assist in operating any pre-production runs

            Assist in installing any new automated equipment, along with moving automated equipment

            Updating manuals, documentation, and programs for automated equipment

            Programming and troubleshooting PLCs and ladder logics

 

QUALIFICATIONS:

            Two (2) to Four (4) years experience with automated manufacturing equipment

            Experience reading, and interpreting electrical and mechanical schematics, blueprints, and/or drawings

            Strong, hands on experience with electrical sensors, wiring, pneumatics, and hydraulics

            Experienced with programming and troubleshooting PLCs and Ladder Logics
