Job Description:

Education:

  • High School diploma or equivalent required
  • Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or similar field of study preferred
  • GIAC Certified Incident Handler (GCIH) preferred

Work Experiences:

  • 2+ years of information security experience required
  • 3+ years of experience in log analysis, malware analysis, and responding to security alerts preferred

  • Excellent time management skills, ability to support multiple projects, and effectively manage a large volume of work

Responsibilities:

  • Perform monitoring, research, assessment, and analysis with common IT security tools of reported security alerts
  • Identify and respond to high-impact security incidents
  • Provide expert analysis of high-impact and critical issues and alerts
  • Recommend and assist with implementation of improvements to process
  • Serve as primary interface with technical teams for issue resolution and security threat mitigation
  • Validate containment, remediation, and recovery with end users
  • Document security risks and incidents using enterprise compliance tools
  • Research and remain up-to-date with current threats and vulnerabilities in the retail sector
  • Work along-side security engineers and architects to improve security tools, processes, and response
  • Develop thorough understanding of Academy policies, procedures and safety rules
