Wish is looking for an experienced IT Systems Engineer to help develop, design, build, tune, and operate our network of global offices. The company is rapidly expanding into cities across the world to handle our international business demands. Our team is small and we have a large amount of responsibility; ideally you will have prior experience being a key player in a similar domain.
What Youll Be Doing

  • Take ownership of monitoring and maintenance for critical IT infrastructure, including upgrades, patch management and troubleshooting
  • Plan, research and implement new hardware / software solutions in both local and remote offices and datacenters
  • Develop custom solutions, automation, and testing procedures to ensure operational reliability
  • Participate in high level technical discussions and decisions with internal teams and external vendors
  • Identifying business challenges and developing actionable solutions with a focus on security and business continuity

Who You Are

  • 5+ years of professional experience supporting medium to large scale enterprise companies in a Systems Engineer / Admin role
  • Prefers testing, process, and automation rather than individual heroics
  • Excellent communicator that has the ability to work collaboratively and independently, with a focus on sharing knowledge vs. gatekeeping
  • Extensive experience with implementing and supporting enterprise technologies, including : Active Directory, AAD, Virtualization (VMWare, KVM), MDM, SAN, SSO, MFA, Firewalls, VPN, SAN, NAS, ITSM
  • Familiar with cloud computing (AWS, Azure, GCP)
  • Security conscious, with experience addressing compliance related needs (GDPR, HIPAA, PCI, ITAR)
  • Established track record with successfully maintaining a multi-site IT infrastructure
  • Desire to identify, research, and implement new technologies that can help deliver on business needs
  • Managed desktops with a variety of OSes (Ubuntu, Mac, Windows)
  • Strong knowledge of LAN / WAN networking, including routing and switching protocols
  • B.S. degree or equivalent experience.
