I will be responsible for the Business Technology (BT) architecture. I will create the initial BT portfolio to include: Business Architecture (Business Capability Maps, Business Workflows (BPM), Business Rules and Business Modeling); Information Architecture (Application, Data and Integration); Technology Architecture (Platforms Collaboration, Security, Networks, etc.) and Organization Architecture (process, planning, metrics, etc.). This wi;; require extensive business research and understanding of sales and marketing, customer and product, shared services, as well as other capabilities.

The findings will be validated, in that they will increase revenues, lower costs, improve process and maximize resources. Completing this, I will lobby for any approval that needs to be obtained from the responsible executives.

I will be responsible for partnering to develop and formalize this understanding. I will review and refine the capabilities, functions, goals, metrics and issues for all domains, products and value streams. I will continually dive deeper within the respective processes to develop improved coordination between shared services. When that's complete, I will once again request approval from the respective business leadership teams.

After receiving approval, I will perform intensive research on approved business technology, related to governance and current business opportunities, and document impact/considerations of these on the business processes and supporting functions. I twill hen review both business and technical content and participate in discussions with associated business service owners to possibly integrate or implement programs identified by this research.

I will act as a mentor to my peers when needed, and made sure that there is a complete understanding of any situation by "C" level executives and the Board of Directors.
