Make Hybrid or Web App Responsive

Make Hybrid or Web App Responsive

I am a Senior-level Lead UI and UX Designer and Developer for Mobile Apps, Hybrid Apps and Responsive WebApps. I have significant start-up experience and mobile/hybrid/web application experience. I am particularly interested in opportunities to design and develop integrated UI / UX for Mobile Applications, Hybrid Applications, and Web Applications. I am experienced and fast at every stage of the process, from branding through wireframes and prototypes, to full layouts and user flows developed and delivered to your front end codebase. I have two skill profiles here in SkillGigs. One is for Senior UI/UX Designer, but the other addresses my strange but obsessive love for fixing front end bugs and whacking the front end codebase into a maintainable, standards-driven shape. I am a great fit for start-ups that want to get their application off the ground with blazing speed or for companies with business-critical deadlines and overloaded teams.

If you have a Hybrid or Web Application, or a web site that is not responsive (does not view well on a mobile device), you don't usually want to re-do your whole app, you just want someone to come in and make it work well for the mobile view. I am that person. No, you do not need to re-do your whole web site in Bootstrap. That would be a very expensive mistake. If your front end HTML and CSS are set up properly and according to standards, this is a moderate task that, depending on the size of your site or application, could take less than two weeks. If they are not set up properly, the HTML, CSS, and probably some javascript need to be made mobile-ready, but the design (appearance) of your desktop site does not have to be re-worked or changed. My process would resemble this: 1) do a quick 1-hour evaluation of your code to be able to determine if it's the best case, worst case, or in the middle - recommend whether or not you should just get the full site re-done or if it's cost-effective to do the mobile view only 2) if you choose to go for the mobile view - create mock-ups of a few key screens to show you how it will look - after your approval, do the work I have done this many times for small and large hybrid and web applications and sites. I am very experienced in this area, and I create clean, efficient, maintainable code so that anyone else can pick up where I leave off. I am also very fast. Tech companies that I have contracted for usually try hard to hire me. If you have a development team, I usually create a branch off of your main product repo and merge directly into your codebase. I follow your team's established processes for code review, and I do not pull request without fully testing my work on all the platforms and screen sizes your product supports. My code is clean and well-commented, standards-driven, and I often fix existing visual bugs in the process. I am familiar with many front-end frameworks and work in them easily, including but not limited to ReactJS, NodeJS, PHP, ASP, JSP, MeteorJS, and Ruby on Rails. If I haven't worked in your framework, I will probably pick it up easily. I have not yet met the framework I could not quickly understand and master. If you are using WordPress or Drupal, I am very familiar with these but the size of the task will depend on the quality of the templates you are using. Contact me if it sounds like this is what you need.
