Goal driven and highly skilled with mechanical and hydraulic design, analysis, project management, applications support, and team management. After spending 8 years as a professional automotive mechanic/machinist I graduated Cum Laude from Texas Tech University with a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering. My second professional career path began at L-3 Communications where I gained experience in design engineering and structural aircraft modification. I have further expanded my skills to include application/technical support, diligent root cause analysis, new product development, and team management as a thru-tubing intervention field engineer for Baker Hughes.
I have been recognized throughout my career as delivering timely and exceptional results by leveraging education and extensive hands-on experience. I am adept at building and leading diverse teams to accomplish business objectives through excellent communication and interpersonal skills. I am also frequently complimented as an articulate presenter with the ability to communicate technical information in a concise manner that bridges the gap between engineering performance and top level business interests.
