I am currently a Product Manager for a Brazilian public health tech startup that uses data collection and analysis to decrease cases of dengue fever internationally. I began work there after graduating from MIT and have contributed substantially to the product portfolio over the past 24 months.

• My first project was to improve our flagship product via user research and interviews, data analysis, and finally a reworking of the UX/UI. The revamp resulted in more satisfied clients and decreased the manual workload four our internal account managers.

• Next, based on insights gained from my user research, I identified the need for a new product and led the development from concept to launch for a platform that lets public health officials map dengue cases. It is now in use by over 140 Brazilian cities.

• After a successful launch of the new product, I began work on managing a complete rebuild of our third product. I managed a team of UX/UI designers, developers, and stakeholders in order to create a platform that is scalable and supersedes the expectations of our clients.

During my career as a product manager, I have had experience programming web apps. I took the role of lead engineer responsible for building our newest product (mentioned above) using Python and Google App Engine. I also have experience with HTML, CSS, and Javascript, including work with the Google Maps API. For analytics, I have experience with Mix Panel, and for email automation, I led the implementation of SendGrid for our web app.

I am also comfortable prototyping in Axure or NinjaMock and have ample experience testing my prototypes with many potential users.

I am looking to join a company where I can make significant contributions to the product landscape. I enjoy gaining insights from users and data, and transforming those insights into product strategy, whether it is improving existing products or creating new ones. I am particularly passionate about health tech, but I am inspired by all implementations of technology that benefit the world. I am a quick learner and eager to work with like-minded people to solve some of the world’s biggest challenges through innovative product solutions.
