House Staff Affairs and Patient Safety Department▪ Assists with the updating of the incumbent residents.▪ Assists with the review of documents for the appointment of the new residents.▪ Assists with the filing and maintenance of the new residents file to be in compliance with the ACGME, NYS DOH, CMS and the Joint commission.▪ Prepare a variety of documents including letters and emails in draft and final form utilizing software programs such as Microsoft PowerPoint, Word and Excel.▪ Proofread and edit documents prior to distribution.▪ Assists in managing daily tasks such as coordinating meetings including scheduling and setting up conference rooms, securing proper equipment and sending reminders.▪ Utilize the Internet to gather information to make informed decisions, support initiatives and find solutions. ▪ Ability to be well organized, pay attention to detail, multitask and communicate effectively. ▪ Answer and direct incoming phone calls.
